After my last diaper purchase extravaganza, I noticed that my receipt did not properly credit me with an Mperks coupon. As has been the case on other occasions, clerks at Meijer cannot and do not have access to Mperks data. Although the clerk agreed that I had purchased the appropriate items for the coupon to work, she could not effectuate any relief because she does not have control over Mperks. I had heard that complaint from multiple people who have also had issues with Mperks coupons, so I took her word for it.
After returning home at 11:30 p.m. I sat down to email Meijer about the problem. They not only responded the next day, they also thanked me for bringing it to my attention. They were "unable to determine the cause" of why my coupon wasn't awarded at the cash register and in return presented me with a $2 off my next $2 purchase.
Thank you Shopathome.com (who administers the Mperks program) for being more attentive than your client has ever been!

Holy Diaper Deal Batman!
Last night was the best couponing trip I've had to the store to date! Here are the numbers: $189 worth of items for. . . wait for it. . . $63!
I had a couple general $0.55 cent coupons off the important pieces (Jello chocolate pudding) and shaving cream. Then I had $0.35 coupons off Blistex. The Blistex was on sale for $0.99 and Meijer doubled the coupons so I got three chapsticks for $0.29 each! If you thought that was good. . .
There's an $8 off a package of diapers for Huggies coupon floating around online. Meijer was running a sale all last week for an instant $10 off a $50 purchase of Huggies. A soft sided package of diapers (roughly 30 diapers) is $9.49. Buy 6 of those to cover your $50 and you make $1 on your purchase!
On top of all of this, I had $2 off a $2 purchase in Mperks and a $1 off a future purchase coupon.
Add it all up for some monster savings. The Huggies coupons don't expire until April so go hunting for them!

The Biggest Savings Yet!
This week I did my typical trip to Meijer at 10:00 pm. This time the shelves were pretty well stocked and I was armed with bottle return slips and a few coupons.
Meijer had great sales including the 10f for 10, get the 11th free! I loaded up on necessities and got a couple goodies (the 240 calorie Hagen Daze).
Sorry, I got off track! The ultimate combination of sale items, coupons and Mperks, I saved $44 on a $98 bill! Thats almost 50%!
